Thomas Harris first introduced serial killer Hannibal Lecter to the world in his RED DRAGON, which was first adapted for the screen by Michael Mann (Collateral, Miami Vice) as MANHUNTER.
Although this psychological thriller did not get the notoriety of the other Harris? adaptations, Mann?s work is far from being a
lesser work in performance, storytelling and direction. William Petersen (CSI : CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION) delivers a convincing performance as the FBI agent, supported by Joan Allen (THE NOTEBOOK, THE BOURNE SUPREMACY) and Brian Cox (25TH HOUR, X-MEN 2).
